M. (Marian) Bethlehem has worked at Bout Advocaten as a legal secretary for more than 25 years. During this time, she gained extensive experience and knowledge by supporting several lawyers in different areas of law. During busy and hectic work, she keeps calm and maintains an overview.
Since 2019, Marian has been providing the secretariat of the Complaints Committee Joint Corporations Groningen together with Saskia Greven. This independent committee handles tenant complaints against housing associations in the city of Groningen and objections regarding rejection of Woonurgentie. She also does secretarial work for the Marthe Havinga Fund Foundation and the Büchli Fest-Meijer Fund. These funds subsidise restorations of historic organs in the province of Groningen and concerts in the city of Groningen.
Bout Advocaten has been a certified training company MBO since 2022 and Marian, together with Anna Gorter and Saskia Greven, supervises trainees MBO level 3/4. From February 2024, she is also a qualified supervisor of practical learning.
