A. (Aukje) Schuil joined Bout Advocaten as a legal secretary on 1 January 1998. In those more than 25 years, she has therefore gained extensive experience and knowledge by supporting several lawyers in different areas of law.
Since October 2013, as administrator, Aukje has been doing the bookkeeping and secretarial work for the Grain Trade Risk Fund Foundation, of which Bertil Westers is the chairman. This foundation was set up in 1955 with the aim of covering financial losses that may arise when grains, seeds and pulses are sold on Groninger Stock Exchange conditions through the mediation of a commission agent affiliated to the Risk Fund (e.g. due to insolvency of the buyer). Since 2010, this foundation has also provided grants for projects in arable farming in the province of Groningen.
