Mr. D.J. (Doris) Westerhoud studied Dutch Law at the University of Groningen. In 2024 she obtained a master’s degree in Dutch law with a specialization in private law. She wrote her thesis on the risk allocation between the buyer and the seller in the purchase of a home if hidden defects are discovered after the purchase. During her studies, she gained practical legal experience at various organizations. For example, she served as a legal assistant and secretary of the board at the Children and Young People’s Law Clinic. She also did internships in the legal profession and in university education at the University of Groningen.
Doris joined Bout Advocaten in September 2023. She works within the civil practice, in particular within the sections building and real estate law, liability law and agricultural law.
