P. van der Maas

Mr. P.C. (Peter) van der Maas graduated from the University of Groningen in 2013 in Dutch law, specialising in private law. After completing his studies, Peter was sworn in as a lawyer in 2013 and worked at a law firm in Haren. He joined Bout Advocaten in October 2023.

As a lawyer, Peter deals with general civil matters, with an emphasis on construction law, corporate law and insolvency law. Peter is a member of ISOLAD, the specialist association for bankruptcy lawyers.

Mr. Van der Maas has registered the following main (and sub) areas of law in the Register of Jurisdictions of the Netherlands Bar Association:

• Insolvency law (Bankruptcy, Surséance van betaling, Wsnp);
• Corporate law (Directors’ liability, Companies, Foundations);
• Real estate law (Construction law, Neighbourhood law, easements).

Pursuant to this registration, he is obliged to obtain 10 training points in each main area of law each calendar year according to the standards of the Netherlands Bar Association.
