Mr. P. (Piet) Stehouwer was born on the Hogeland, where his parents had an agricultural business. After studying Dutch law, he has always worked in the agricultural sector, first with an agricultural cooperative and a stand organization and since 1997 as a lawyer. He held office in Friesland until October 2014, where he still lives.
Piet joined Bout Advocaten as a specialist in agricultural law on 1 November 2014. Areas of interest include tenancy law, land development, fertiliser legislation, the CAP and partnership issues. He also regularly acts as an arbitrator, is a member of the Agricultural Law Association (www.verenigingagrarischrecht.nl) and the Association of Agricultural Lawyers (www.vvara.nl). He also regularly acts as an arbitrator, is a member of the Agricultural Law Association (www.verenigingagrarischrecht.nl) and the Association of Agricultural Lawyers (www.vvara.nl).
